Tecnica utilizzata:
fuoco.
“The Night” Majolica on porcelain stoneware with copper oxide-based metallic glazes and inclusions of iron dust and slag. Slab size 90×45 cm The price is for a single slab; they can be purchased separately. Technique used: The blacks are created by brush-applying metallic glazes based on tin, copper, cobalt, and lead, fired at a temperature of 945°C. The elements, combined in different percentages, allow for modulating metallic effects ranging from deep bucchero-style black to mirror-like metallic effects with iridescent silver, gold, cobalt blue, and copper green. The surface is given a more textured feel thanks to the application of metallic dust and slag derived from iron processing. The complexity and uniqueness of the work lies in the management of the melting point and the resulting transformation of the iridescent metals, which is achieved within an extremely narrow temperature range, as occurs in the traditional third-fire lustre technique.
The price refers to a single slab, it is possible to purchase them separately.
